Andy started running as a junior in Bendigo through school competitions and casual weekend races. After a number of Junior State Team selections, Andy started to take his running more serious after finishing school. Since Andy has gradually developed in the last 10 years and has raced over a range of distances from 800m through to the Half Marathon. Andy has won a number of Victorian Titles on the track and also in his more favoured event, cross country. Andy has also won the Australian Cross Country Championship in 2017 and 2018. Through consistency and smart training, Andy has been able to achieve his running goals and continue to strive for more.
